THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF ESPÍRITO SANTO REPLACES ITS STORAGE UNIT IN ORDER TO SPEED UP ACCESS TO ITS DATABASE. THE INITIATIVE WILL SERVE AS A FOUNDATION FOR THE VIRTUALIZATION OF SERVICES AND COUNTED ON THE PARTICIPATION OF CIMCORP.
In practical terms, the Brazilian government is one of the main clients in the IT industry. This occurs in all spheres. Every day more services are supported by technology, but tangible benefits at one point, if not well dimensioned, cause bottlenecks at another point. “When we managed to deliver computers to more users, the quantity of accesses to the applications went up a lot”, commented Rodrigo Esteves Gomes, support analyst of the Supreme Court of the State of Espírito Santo (TJ-ES).

Cimcorp and Dell launch partnership |

Cimcorp will offer its customers the PROATI - Technical Support Program, in partnership with Dell. Aimed at middle-market companies, the program intends to help them to maximize IT resources and improve the levels of continuity. The new step is one of the Cimcorp initiatives to build a portfolio of recurring revenues in a favorable scenario for new investments, planning to make an IPO next year in order to raise funds and make acquisitions.

The Technological Support Program (PROATI) should increase the company’s annual revenue in 2009. CIMCORP, a company specialized in services of high complexity, performance optimization and IT infrastructure management, is now providing its clients with the PROATI – Technological Support Program. Directed towards mid-sized companies, the program has the objective of helping them in the maximum use of IT resources and in the improvement of the levels of continuity and availability. CIMCORP proposes to make its clients an offer with a monthly value, without demanding a high initial investment and that provides a significant reduction of costs. The experience in several projects has verified that with the virtualization of servers, for examples, there is an economy of R$ 500.000 in expenses with electric energy over a period of three years, as well as a reduction of R$ 3 million in a case where 2.000 desktops were virtualized. Based on these benefits, CIMCORP intends to increment its annual revenue by 15% with this proposal. |
