Monitoring

Constant monitoring of your IT infrastructure!

The objective of Monitoring is to constantly follow the entire IT infrastructure operation (servers, storages, links, applications, databases, networks and their devices) anticipating performance and availability problems in a preventive manner and executing the necessary actions in order to guarantee the level of services for the users.

CIMCORP additionally offers a set of services that involve, besides the Monitoring of the Environment, the Help Desk, Technical Support and Assisted Operation, all of which are followed and managed in real time from the CMC – CIMCORP Monitoring Center.

CMC - CIMCORP Monitoring Center

Trained teams of network operators, who use state-of-the-art software to control, in a non-invasive manner (agentless), all of the components being monitored, execute the monitoring services. These operators work in the CMC – CIMCORP Monitoring Center in São Paulo.

Clients receive the “Monthly Monitoring Summary”, which demonstrates the volumes of occurrences and alarms of the environment being monitored and identifies critical aspects, such as network traffic, band consumption, downloads and undesired accesses.

Besides the component failure alarms, the occupation of available capacities can also be monitored by means of specific software, and identify preventive situations of capacity planning job opening.

The main applications and databases can be monitored in real time and identify the limit situations that require immediate action from technical support in order to prevent eventual performance and availability problems.

Monitoring Console

The CMC - CIMCORP Monitoring Center operates in a specific high availability environment, consisting of large plasma monitors, with the graphical visualization of the monitored groups of components and with audio and visual alarms of the detected failures and events.

By means of the drill-down technique, the control software reaches the specific component causing the alert and permits the instantaneous triggering of the corrective actions.

The image of the monitoring console can be provided remotely to the client, who will have the same control view, in real time, which is used in the CMC, if he/she wishes to do so.
