Aiming the growth of small and medium-sized businesses, technology companies develop solutions to support start-up companies. The offerings cover paid access websites that guide decision makings, besides softwares and equipment given according to the needs of clients. Initiatives promise an economy of 25% on small business' budget from sectors such as finance, industries and health care. Planeje-se Tecnologia e Gestão Empresarial, from Rio de Janeiro, has just launched a website with the same name in order to support micro and small businesses in decision makings. The service is available 24 hours a day and costs R$ 1 a day. "Our potential clients are small businessmen that use Internet in the daily work", states Marcos Martins, partner responsible by the service development and sale. "Primarily we will cover the trade sector and, soon, the system will be ready for service and industry sectors". According to Martins, part of the problems faced by micro and small businesses result from the lack of support for strategical making decisions. "The website was conceived from this perception". The expected sales of the service in 2010 is 1,4 thousand of subscriptions, with an income of $50 thousand. Next year, the company expects to earn R$ 720 thousand, with about 6 thousand subscribers. Martins's goal is to make the product known worldwide, with shipment in English and Spanish speaking countries. "We are closing a deal with the Chamber of Commerce of the state of Rio de Janeiro (FCDL-RJ), that must provide about 60 thousand members in the state with access to the website" During the second semester, Planeje-se will introduce the system to tradesmen and businessmen in other cities in Rio.
