But also the technology area will have to receive a large amount of money, according to the commercial manager of the IT company CIMCORP, Rogério Dias. “Judging from international experience, we will have to invest R$ 3 billion in the World Cup and Olympic Games”, says Dias. The money will be destined for press centers, communication structures and traffic of data, voice and videos in airports, besides management of data centers and network infrastructure implementation in host cities. "Some things have already been done for Pan American Games in Rio, but in a very superficial way. By the majesty of the events that are coming, it is necessary an much bigger investment, which will have to be done not only by the government but also by the organizers committees (CBF and FIFA) and private companies", points out Dias. |
