Targeting the northeast market, CIMCORP opens a branch in Salvador

Planning an investment of half a million in the first year, the creation of the new unit aims to consolidate the company's presence in the Northeast - one of the most promising regions for the sector

Aiming to meet the growing demand in the Northeast, Cimcorp, a company specialized in services for performance optimization, contingency, high availability and management of IT infrastructure, has just opened its branch in Salvador, BA. The new unit, coordinated by Juçara Bittencourt, who reports directly to the Regional Director, Mauro Molino, will offer performance, continuity and management of IT infrastructure to the northeastern market , including its marketing of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), which reduces the client’s initial investment and turns it into monthly payments as a service. The investments during the first year of the new unit should be the around half a million.

According to Assespro, the Northeast has become one of the most promising regions for Information Technology industry with annual growth rate of 20%. In Brazil, the average value presented is 22% yearly. "Bahia, as well as the other northeastern states, has a constant growth market. Companies are always looking for solutions that support its growth and the reduction in spending. Therefore, Cimcorp increasingly invests in strengthening its portfolio with products and services that meet those needs ", said Mauro Molino, director of Cimcorp.

It is expected that the new subsidiary accounts for 50% of revenues in the Northeast by the end of the year. The company expects to have a 25% growth in 2010. In 2009, CIMCORP grew by 31% with sales amounting to R$225 million, having won 60 new clients.
