| CIMCORP brings reduction of costs with IT to medium-sized companies |

The Technological Support Program (PROATI) should increase the company’s annual revenue in 2009. CIMCORP, a company specialized in services of high complexity, performance optimization and IT infrastructure management, is now providing its clients with the PROATI – Technological Support Program. Directed towards mid-sized companies, the program has the objective of helping them in the maximum use of IT resources and in the improvement of the levels of continuity and availability. CIMCORP proposes to make its clients an offer with a monthly value, without demanding a high initial investment and that provides a significant reduction of costs. The experience in several projects has verified that with the virtualization of servers, for examples, there is an economy of R$ 500.000 in expenses with electric energy over a period of three years, as well as a reduction of R$ 3 million in a case where 2.000 desktops were virtualized. Based on these benefits, CIMCORP intends to increment its annual revenue by 15% with this proposal. In order to provide support the IT managers who need to optimize IT resources, making them available at lower costs and implementing efficient management technologies, PROATI is focused on the performance optimization and makes advanced hardware, software and service tools available for the mapping of the current identified environment; thus, the opportunities for gain and the reduction of costs. Besides this, it assists the companies in the design of the architecture for the implementation of the environment based on virtualization, drafting the ROI and the investment plan, making professional services and management available. The product and service package also foresees the implementation of business continuity models, with impact analysis, design of the contingency architecture, the installation of the DR Site and the monitoring of the environment. One of PROATI’s highlights is the management of IT infrastructure environments. By means of the CMC –CIMCORP Monitoring Center, it is possible for any client to remotely maintain his/her environment monitored, with help and service desk, besides the technical support. The differential is that this management is shared between CIMCORP and the client’s IT team. The option for technological evolution of the IT Park based on IaaS – Infrastructure as a Service, complements PROATI. In this model, all the hardware, software and service resources required for the organization of the IT can be purchased as a single service, with support, management, monthly payment and aligned with frameworks, such as ITIL and COBIT, fundamental for IT Governance. |
