CIMCORP, a company specialized in services of high complexity, performance optimization and IT infrastructure management, closed 50 virtualization project deals last year, and foresees an increase of 100% for this year. In the first semester alone, the company has reached 70% of the year’s volume of virtualization sales. The company has invested in the qualification of its team in order to grow within this segment. Due to this success, the company received two awards from VMware: Quality in Virtualization Processes and Certification. This recognition will generate an increase of 100% in the company’s virtualization sales, besides creating new complementary alliances for the consolidation of desktop servers and virtualization, cloud computing solutions, charge back of the virtual environment and graphical backup. The CIMCORP differential that were taken into consideration were: the use of a larger installed base, which allows for the use of complementary solutions and makes other partners and contracts feasible; and a greater contingent of certified professionals, from the technical team to pre-sales, with over 40 certified professionals composing its team. A partnership for approximately a year in the area of consolidation and virtualization of servers, the company’s performance was highlighted, being considered as the best of six partners who listed in the Premier category (chosen among 300 partner companies in Brazil). The criteria used for the award were: sales volume, number of certified professionals and different types of consolidated business with the partnership. The awards bore fruit for CIMCORP. Besides being authorized by VMware to act as consultant in any Latin American country, the company fomented a few macro projects in the world, conquering a strong virtualization market. “With these awards we gained visibility, reliability and new business opportunities. We’ve already reached 70% of the volume of projects closed last year, in a half a year, and we were able to increase our participation with several clients”, affirmed Rafael Hora, product manager of CIMCORP. |
