The company consolidates its services, creates a new area and must define the team and the executive in charge by the end of February. The sales in 2008 should reach R$ 170 million. CIMCORP is in the final phase of its service consolidation process, which will culminate in the creation of a new business unit. The information was released on Wednesday (01/21) by Tadeu Fucci, the president of the company. According to the executive, the new unit will gather services such as infrastructure as a service, computerized points, contingency and remote monitoring in a centralized manner. “By the end of January, we will have hired the executive that will be responsible for the area”, he said. According to Fucci, this unit is the company’s bet in order to maintain its growth expectations during a period of crisis. The gamble is concentrated on two services: infrastructure as a service and the leasing of computerized points. In both cases, Fucci affirms that the solutions reinforce the management of companies over IT and provide credit subsidies for its clients. He revealed that the model, launched in the second semester of last year, now has 12 clients. With the consolidation, the company foresees a growth of 10% this year. Although the 2008 results still haven’t been calculated, Fucci said that the company should announce sales of approximately R$ 170 million, which represents a growth of 30% over 2007. In case the prediction is confirmed, CIMCORP should end 2009 with sales of over R$ 180 million. “Our bet is that this year will be the year for services, therefore our focus in reinforcing the governance of our clients”, he affirmed.
