The company consolidates its services, creates a new area and must define the team and the executive in charge by the end of February.  The sales in 2008 should reach R$ 170 million.

CIMCORP is in the final phase of its service consolidation process, which will culminate in the creation of a new business unit. The information was released on Wednesday (01/21) by Tadeu Fucci, the president of the company.

IN THE FACE OF SO MANY uncertainties, it is already possible to detect a consensus about the evolution of the information technology (IT) market in the short and medium run in Brazil: the sales of software and services related to the increase in productivity and the improvement of performance of the companies should not be reduced due to the global financial crisis and economic retraction, which affect certain countries. The investments will not stop, just the opposite, they will continue presenting expressive growth rates, according to a study conducted by IDC Latin America consulting firm and published at the end of November. The local clients evolve rapidly in information control, the improvement of processes and management, optimization of infrastructure and outsourcing – and so far, no one bets on this tendency receding.

Over the last three years, SMARTtech, a company of engineering projects, has doubled its sales. This accentuated growth made the company’s technological park obsolete. Without an adaptation of the IT environment, the plans of maintaining an intense rhythm and opening new fronts in Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, the interior of the state of São Paulo and in Argentina could be threatened.
